About
I'm Jason, a self-taught engineer. I've been building things for over ten years.
How I started
My first product was The MIB – Men in Black, a store theme I made at Haravan, my first company. Great place, great people. We still keep in touch.
There, I built and improved a lot of stores and themes myself, and learned a lot doing it.
Then I found what I liked most: building things people find useful. So I started learning product. I broke things, learned, and did it again anyway. I still work that way.
Now
By day, I work as a software engineer. By night, I build my own products, from idea to launch. I post them on Jason Labs.
This site
This is a record of what I've done lately: what I built, how I built it, and what I learned. I write about building products, and about doing it on my own.
